What ZeroCrew and its apps store, who sees it, and what we never do.

In short

  • We keep what you give us: your email, your profile, the tools you submit, your reviews, and your bids.
  • Clerk runs sign-in, Stripe holds your card, Convex stores your data, Resend sends email, and PostHog counts visits.
  • We see only your card's brand and last 4 digits, never the full number.
  • Members see your profile. The public sees only what you choose to share and the tool listings we publish.
  • We never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete everything at any time.

ZeroCrew AI Ltd is a UK company. It runs the ZeroCrew community on zerocrew.ai and builds apps for the App Store on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. This page covers the community first, then the site’s beta list and contact form, then a section for each app.

The ZeroCrew community

What we collect

  • Your account: your email address and name, through Clerk, which runs sign-in.
  • Your profile: what you add, such as your bio, X handle, website, LinkedIn, and city.
  • Membership and billing: your role, your auction registrations and bids, and your Stripe customer. Stripe holds your card; we keep only its brand, last 4 digits, and expiry.
  • What you share: tools you submit, with their images, reviews, intro requests, and your kit.
  • Your MCP token: we keep only a scrambled form of it (a hash), never the token itself.
  • Usage: the pages you view, the buttons you click, and what you do on ZeroCrew, such as saving a card, bidding, and auction results, through PostHog, hosted in the EU. It's linked to your account ID, never your name, email, or card. When you’re signed in, it links them to your account ID, never to your name or email.

How we use it

To run your account and the auction, charge winners, show your profile to members, publish accepted listings and reviews, make the intros you ask for, send you emails you signed up for, and improve ZeroCrew.

Who sees it

Members see your profile. The public sees only accepted tool listings, published reviews, and anything you choose to share, such as a public kit. The companies that run parts of ZeroCrew for us see what they need: Clerk (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Convex (storage), Resend and AgentMail (email), and PostHog (analytics). We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

As long as you have an account, and as long after as the law requires for payment records. When you close your account, we delete the rest.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export, or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Ask through the contact page. If you’re in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

The beta list and contact form

What these store

This site stores your email address only when you join the beta or send a message through the contact page. Reading the site never asks for it.

The beta list

When you join the beta, or use an invite link for an app, the beta list stores your email address, whether you confirmed it, when you confirmed, and where you joined: the beta page or the invite link for a named app. Resend, the mail provider that sends beta emails, holds a copy of your address and the apps you asked to test, so it can send them.

An invite link also gives your address to Apple, which adds you to that app’s TestFlight beta. Apple’s privacy policy covers what Apple keeps. For each invite link you use, the site records which app you asked to test, whether Apple’s invite went through, the tester ID Apple returns, and the error if it didn’t.

When you confirm your address from the beta page, or use an invite link, a mail provider sends Vlad one notice with your address.

The contact form

When you send a message, the site stores the app you picked, your reply address, your message, and the time you sent it. A mail provider sends Vlad one notice with your message, and he replies to your address.

Analytics

The site counts visits with PostHog, hosted in the EU. It sets no cookies. PostHog keeps a random ID in your browser’s local storage so a repeat visit counts once, and records the pages you view and the links and buttons you click. It never records your screen, and it never learns your name or email address. Signed-in members are linked by account ID only.

What the site never does

The site never shows your email address to anyone, and ZeroCrew never sells it.

Delete your data

To have your email address and everything stored with it removed, ask through the contact page. The same goes for a question about this policy.

The apps

Every ZeroCrew app keeps what you enter on your device or in your own iCloud. Each app’s section lists what it stores, what goes to anyone else and to whom, and what it never does.
