GOAT to-do privacy policy

How GOAT to-do for iPhone handles your data

The short version

GOAT to-do keeps your data on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. ZeroCrew AI Ltd, the developer, never sees it. The only third party that receives anything is the purchase service, and what it gets can't identify you. The details follow.

What the app stores, and where

  • Your character, roles, tasks, and wins live in a database on your iPhone.
  • The same database syncs through your own iCloud account, in a private CloudKit database that only your devices can read. ZeroCrew has no access to it.
  • A photo you choose for your character stays on the device you chose it on. GOAT reads it through the system photo picker, so it never asks for access to your photo library.
  • Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone.
  • On iOS 26 with Apple Intelligence turned on, task drafting runs on your device through Apple's on-device model. Nothing is sent to a server.
  • Siri, Shortcuts, and Spotlight work through Apple's frameworks on your device.

Who receives what

  • Apple. Purchases go through the App Store. Apple's privacy policy covers what Apple keeps about a purchase, your iCloud data, Siri, and Apple Intelligence. Apple privacy policy.
  • RevenueCat. When you buy or restore GOAT Plus, the RevenueCat SDK records the purchase so we can see revenue in one dashboard. It receives an anonymous ID it generates for your install, your device's vendor identifier, the App Store receipt and transaction history, and the app version, OS version, device model, and locale. None of this names you, and we don't link it to any identity. RevenueCat privacy policy.

What we never do

  • No GOAT account, sign-in, or email address.
  • No analytics or advertising SDK, and no tracking across apps or websites.
  • No server of ours ever receives a task, a role, a win, or a photo.
  • We never sell or share your data.

Your choices

  • Turn iCloud sync off for the app in your iPhone's iCloud settings. The app keeps working on the device.
  • Export your data as a backup file from the app's settings, and restore it wherever you like.
  • Delete the app to remove its data from your iPhone, and delete its iCloud data from Manage Account Storage in your iCloud settings.
  • Ask us to delete the anonymous purchase record. Get in touch through the link at the end of this page.

Children

GOAT to-do isn't directed at children under 13, and it collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date. A change that affects what leaves your device also appears in the App Store release notes.
